I’m a Chinese teacher and the creator of Ellie Chinese and the 7-Day Tone Reset.

For the past eight years, I've been living in a Chinese-speaking environment, where Chinese is part of everyday life. Through teaching learners from around the world, I've seen the same challenge come up again and again: Chinese tones often feel confusing, overwhelming, and difficult to use naturally. 

That's why I created Ellie Chinese—to make Chinese pronunciation feel clearer, more approachable, and easier to practice through simple, beginner-friendly lessons
